Editorial policy
Bright Discovery aims to make visual ideas understandable without flattening their nuance. We distinguish observation from interpretation, explain relevant context and correct material errors when they come to our attention.
Accuracy and context
We check names, terminology and factual statements against appropriate material before publication, and avoid presenting an interpretation as settled fact. When a visual example depends on context, we explain what can and cannot be inferred from it. Our articles are written for general understanding and do not replace specialist guidance.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or a favourable view. Sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled wherever it appears, so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, unclear description or missing context, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review specific, actionable reports and update material when warranted, making the correction clear where appropriate.
Images and illustrations
Images are selected to support the subject rather than imply evidence they do not provide. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, they are identified as illustrative and are not presented as documentary records or original examples.
Clarity is made, not assumed.
Every visual explanation makes choices about what to show, what to leave out and where to lead the eye. We look closely at those choices.
